Easton Public Market represents a new public space for the City of Easton to engage visitors, feature local vendors and enrich the community. Located in a renovated urban storefront building in downtown Easton, the project features an open floor plan with 14 vendor booths that mimics the unique feel of farmers’ markets like Philadelphia’s Reading Terminal market. The project complements the City’s existing outdoor farmer’s market (which is America’s oldest, continuous open-air market), while providing an authentic culinary experience and serving as a vibrant community gathering place for shopping, dining and learning. By promoting the renewal and revitalization of downtown Easton, the project also successfully advances several of the City’s and the region’s community development and economic development goals.
