EDUCATION
The Lehigh Valley is well-served by a full range of education and training options that include primary and secondary public school districts, where more than 100,000 students learn each day, and higher education options that range from community colleges to universities to career and technical schools providing training for the workers of today and tomorrow.
Primary and Secondary Education
The region is served by 17 school districts providing primary and secondary education. While most of the schools are clustered around the urban and suburban cores, where Allentown and Bethlehem school districts educate more than 20,000 students each, the Lehigh Valley has several rural districts, including some with enrollment of less than 2,000 students.
